Infant Assistant (3/13/2023)
​
We are looking for a warm and caring infant room assistant teacher, Monday-Friday, flexible on the hours ranging from 10:00am to 6:00pm or 1:00pm to 6:00pm. Reliability and dependability with our teachers is extremely important. Pay starts at $18.00+ DOE. Please call, email, or stop by today and pick up an application!

Responsibilities include:
- Diapering/feeding/comforting and general care and play with up to four infants, 4 weeks to 12 months old.
- Accommodating each individual infant's dietary needs and sleep schedule.
- Support the lead teachers with implementing their monthly lesson plans. Plans could include art projects, songs, reading, and encouraging developmentally appropriate skills like crawling/walking/talking/feeding themselves, etc.
- Greeting families and children as they arrive and leave.
-Misc. daily cleaning.

Training requirements (all of which we pay for and help you obtain) :

A negative TB test
-
A Washington State Food Handler’s Permit
-
STARS 30 Hour Basic Training + continued education
-
Infant, Child, Adult CPR training; First Aid, Blood-borne Pathogens training; and Safe Sleep.

Pass a background check from WA State Department of Children, Youth, and Families.

The following are all required to qualify for the position:
- Prior experience in caring for infants.
- Earned a high school diploma or equivalent.

We are looking for warm and caring assistant teachers for our Toddler through Pre-K rooms. We have two shifts to choose from, one is from 10:00am to 6:00pm, and the other is 12:00pm to 6:00pm. Responsibilities and Duties:

Supporting the lead teacher in their age appropriate lesson plans and monthly curriculum

Creating a warm classroom environment

General care and play with the children

Excellent and appropriate staff and parent communication

Greeting families and children as they arrive or leave

Misc. daily cleaning in classrooms and/or the center
